Severe weather warnings are at their highest level across Ireland and parts of Scotland.

Storm Éowyn brings hurricane-level wind gusts approaching 120 mph (193 km/h) in western Ireland. The system moves in from early Friday morning.

Met Éireann have issued Danger to Life warnings across Ireland, with Met Office warnings also covering every region of the UK at varying levels.
